Meet Kellie…The driving force behind BlueJay Media

Kellie Didigu (dih-dih-goo), Founder and Principal of BlueJay Media, has over 18 years of strategic communications, public affairs and publicity experience.

Kellie has provided communications support to government agencies, elected officials, nonprofits, and entrepreneurs. As a public relations professional, Kellie understands how media placements can help businesses gain trust and credibility with their audience, build brand visibility, and attract new clients, supporters, and investors.

Kellie has secured national and local placements on television, radio, digital and print outlets. Through these experiences, Kellie helps companies tell their story to attract the media and connect with their audiences. She is also adept at building community relations, engaging stakeholders, and cultivating promotional partnerships.

Kellie is a dynamic public speaker with experience presenting to youth and professional associations, and facilitating panels and workshops. She’s also very passionate about supporting youth leadership and academic programs. Kellie serves as Board Chair of the Career Exposure Camp, introducing middle school students to STEM+A careers.

Kellie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism from Ohio University and a Master of Public Administration from Northern Illinois University. She is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists and ColorComm.
